December 2017 Dr. Cheol-Gu Kang, from Pai Chai University, Korea, gave a special lecture on comparing TV contents’ industries in Korea and Japan at SGU on December 14. October 2017 A senior student of the Department of Culture and Communication Activities from Shokei Gakuin University was sent as an exchange student to Dalian University of Technology, China. October 2017 October 2, 2017, Shokei Gakuin University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State Institute for Art Studies (SIAS), Russia. Attending signing were Vice Director SIAS, Dr. Galima Uralovna Lukina from Moscow; from Shokei Gakuin University, President Takafumi Goda, Special Assistant for President for International Affairs, Prof. Marie Aizawa, Prof. Akihiko Morita, Associate Prof. Sadakatsu Tsuchida, Assistant Prof. Sam Murchie, and some staff of the Regional and International Affairs Division. September 2017 Shokei Gakuin welcomes two exchange students from the School of Foreign Languages of Zhejiang Yuexiu University, China for a year stay. August 2017 Ten students from Shokei Gakuin University visit Seattle, Washington, USA for two weeks intensive English study and individual research projects. August 2017 Nine students from Shokei Gakuin University visit Hungkuang University, Taiwan for a two-week intensive Chinese language and culture program. A staff of the Regional and International Affairs Division visited Hungkuang University for a few days. July 2017 Six students from Shokei Gakuin University visit Pai Chai University, Daejeon, Korea for a three-week intensive Korean language and culture program. A staff of the Regional and International Affairs Division, Mio Sasaki visited Pai Chai University for a few days. July 2017 Dr. Olga Kolotouchkina from CEU San Pablo University, Madrid, Spain, gave a special lecture on Advertising of Spain for Shokei Gakuin University students on July 12. April 2017 Dr. Akihiko Morita, professor of Shokei Gakuin University, gave a special lecture on Post San Francisco System at Hungkuang University, Taichuang, Taiwan, on Aplil 28. The lecture was shared with both Shokei and Hungkuang University students and they had a discussion using on-line system. April 2017 Shokei Gakuin welcomes two exchange students from the School of Foreign Languages of Dalian University of Technology, China for a year stay. March 2017 Dr. Shigeki Katsura, professor of Shokei Gakuin University gave a special lecture on Japanese housing and Japanese peoples’ ideas on living at Dalian University of Technology, China, on March 30. On the same day, A/Prof. Takeyasu Kawabata of Shokei Gakuin University gave a special lecture on a comparative study on Japanese and Chinese university professors’ motivation to implement research at Dalian University of Technology, China. March 2017 Prof. Toshiyuki Miyoshi of Shokei Gakuin University gave a special lecture on behavioral therapy（Dohsa-hou therapy）at the College of Education, University of Da Nang, Vietnam, March 21-23. March 2017 Dr. Marie Aizawa Phelan of Shokei Gakuin University gave three special lectures on advertising in Japan during The 9th International Week held by the School of Humanities and Communication Science, CEU San Pablo University, Madrid, Spain from March 7-9. February 2017 Nine students from Shokei Gakuin University visited Cambodia to participate in international exchange activities and to learn children’s rights and women’s rights. January 2017 Dr. Chegzhi Sun from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, gave a special lecture for Shokei Gakuin University students on the action for cultivation of the global talented person in Chinese university - focus on Dalian Science and Technology University on January 19.
